In , at the wonderful Walt Disney World Resort, you can see the JAMMitors kick it up, creating music using objects like trashcans, dustpans, hardhats, flyswatters, and more.
The JAMMitors are three Park ‘custodians‘ who perform a using trashcans in the Future World area of theme park. Sometimes they may make their way down to the Test Track, or Mission Space area, as well.
Of course they add humor, and other antics to their routine, which turn a street performance into a Disney street performance. And the kids love the stickers at the end too.

Check them out and let us know what you think!

Living at Walt Disney World Resort – Golden Oak Resort

Are you crazy about Disney?  Can you handle luxury?  Would you LOVE to in the Most Magical Place On Earth?  Do you wish that Walt Disney Imagineering designed YOUR neighborhood? Have a few million to spare ?

If the answer is YES to all of these questions, then the Golden Oak Resort, at Walt Disney World, is your next home address.

Now, don’t go saying, Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo just yet.  Pre-sales have just begun on the planned 450 homesites on 980 acres within the Walt Disney World Resort nestled near Bay Lake.  And with only 30 homesites that will be available in 2010, you will need to plop down a $25,000 refundable deposit to be on the reservation list.  Of course, considering you will be able to cover the estimated $1.5 – 8 million dollar price tag, the $25k isn’t terrible.  Right?

While WDI is handling the master planning of the community, a select group of select builders have been chosen for buyers to choose from.  It will be designed into four distinct ‘Neighborhoods’ with names like Carolwood, Silverbrook, and Kimball Trace.

I’m sure Disney learned a great deal from the initial prototype community in Celebration, so there is no doubt that this new project will push those limits, expand the possible, and surpass the expected.

Another thing that adds to the many advantages of being ‘on-property’, WDW takes great care in conservation, and this project is no exception.  Conservation areas comprise almost half of the 980-acre site.  And you can see, the location right near the Fort Wilderness Campground and the Magic Kingdom entrance.  How exciting is that?!

Even though the cost of one of these luxurious homes is just a tad out of my price range, I am so happy to see that Walt’s dream of WDW communities coming true.

Perhaps we’ll get a peek inside on our next trip to WDW…. pretty please?!

For more information, you can check out the Golden Oak Resort website.
