Disney’s The Princess and the Frog event in NYC
Disney Pictures release of The Princess and the Frog, loosely based on E.D. Baker’s novel The Frog Princess and the Grimm brothers’ The Frog Prince, and Disney’s first hand drawn animated feature since 2004, will be marked by a Gala that only Disney has the ability to throw. They are calling it, “The Princess and the Frog event“, and it promises to deliver excitement to children of all ages, running from November 25th – December 13th.
First, you see the movie at the iconic Ziegfeld Theatre, then you are off to the Roseland Ballroom for a one-of-a-kind event called the “Ultimate Disney Experience.” For the first time ever—all nine of the Disney Princesses (including the film’s newest princess, Princess Tiana) will be there, as well as exciting Bayou games, movie archives, how-to presentations from Disney animators, Studio tours, and more.
It sounds very exciting, indeed.
So, you are wondering, how do I go to such an event? You can click HERE, and choose your date and seats. The ticket section of the website is a little hard to navigate, and the design process was not very well thought out, but you can muddle your way through it. The prices are $30 or $50 per ticket (depending on seat selection), and they are selling out fast.
If you are like my family, and would love to go to an event that celebrates the roots of what the Walt Disney Company represents, you need to attend! As always, we will keep you informed of all of the happenings around this incredible event.
